Where is Endless Trail based?

Endless Trail operates from Gap Creek Reserve, Gap Creek Road, Mount Coot-Tha Saturday and Sunday mornings between the hours of 6:30am -1:30pm weather permitting.  You will find us inside the reserve at the trailhead entrance to Crebra Climb and Cockatoo Trail.

How many rides will be scheduled each day?

Two 1.5 hour rides are scheduled each day. The first riding group meet Endless Trail at 7:00am with the ride to commence at 7:30am.  The second riding group meet Endless Trail at 10:00am with the ride to commence at 10:30am

A new addition to the riding program is “The Taster Ride”. 45 minutes of as much riding as you can fit in. Check riding dates and times for availability.

What is an Endless Trail guided adventure ride?

Endless Trail guided adventure rides are tailored according to the skill level and riding experience of each rider within the group. Information provided at time of booking will allow Endless Trail to make appropriate arrangements prior to the ride to ensure the best ride experience.

Endless Trail will also guide during the course of the ride and will provide an opportunity to focus on specific skills, trail education and correct equipment use.

What do I have to bring?

  • Helmet - no helmet no ride. Endless Trail will not be providing safety equipment at this time.

  • Pedals - each bike is fitted with flat pedals however you are welcome to brings your own pedals for fitting

  • Shoes - Riding shoes with cleats (only if you bring your own pedals) otherwise flat bottom shoes with a firm rubber sole are recommended over normal runners or cross trainers

  • Hydration backpack - carry water, food, medicine

  • Safety equipment - gloves, knee and elbow pads are recommended

  • Sunglasses

  • Phone

Why do we have to meet 30 minutes before the ride?

Endless Trail have some responsibilities to cover off before each ride can commence;

  • sign rider waiver

  • finish fitting rider to bike - suspension, seat post height and pedals

  • general induction - regardless of a rider's level of experience, Endless Trail will run through a number of important details before heading out on each ride;

    • bike features and setup

    • best use of the electric mountain bike's functions

    • the terrain to be covered and how to identify hazards

    • rider etiquette with respect to other users of the forest space

What if the weather conditions are going to be too wet or too hot?

Should the conditions not be favourable, Endless Trail will notify riders at least 90 minutes before commencement of ride whether the rides have been cancelled for the day.  Riders will be given an opportunity to rebook another ride or request a refund should this occur.
